Hello! This week we will be starting our final class novel for the year. We will be reading, Devil's Arithmetic. This is a fictional novel about a young girls understanding and perspective on the Holocaust. We are reading it as a companion to what is being taught in 8th grade English. Each day we will complete discussion questions from a study guide and participate in class discussions and lessons surrounding the themes in the book. As we read, we will use the reading strategies that we have been learning through out the year. This is a very good book and I hope everyone enjoys the experience of reading it.
