Hello! We are continuing with our class novel, HOLES, this week. We will be concentrating on themes and point of view as we read. We will also build our understanding of characterization. Here is this weeks schedule:
Mon. 3/8: Section 5 Vocabulary; "Illiteracy in America" class discussion
Tues. 3/9: Discuss the plot line and theme. Work on time line and character chart
Wed 3/10: Start reading Section 5 of HOLES
Thur 3/11: Finish reading Section 5 of HOLES; Discuss point of view in story structure.
Fri. 3/12: Quiz on Section 5 of HOLES; review 3rd quarter notes.
