Hello, This week we will continue to read and discuss HOLES. Our focus will be on understanding the characterization as well as finding themes in the story. We will also be practicing using informational text as we discuss ideas from the novel. At the end of the week we will be taking notes on story structures we we will learning in 3rd quarter. Here is this weeks schedule:
Tues. 12/15: Library day for informational text practice; In class assignment "Inventors"
Wed. 12/16: Library day for informational text practice; In class assignment "Future Plans"
Thur. 12/17: Discuss Library assignments; Characterization discussion; No homework
Fri. 12/18: 3rd Quarter Notes; Vocab for Section 3 of HOLES; No homework.
