Hello All! We are still continuing to read our class novel, The Dark Side of Nowhere, this week. We will be reviewing the Six Strategies of Reading as we read the novel. We will reviewing the concepts of informational and functional texts. Here is the run-down for the week:
Mon. 11/9: Read Class Novel
Tues. 11/10: Finish Class novel; Turn in Strategy Book
Wed. 11/11: Test on The Dark Side of Nowhere; Review Text Types
Thur. 11/12: Functional Text Lesson/Notes: Newspaper Parts
Fri. 11/13: Newspaper worksheet
Don't forget to bring an outside reading book everyday for daily points.
