Hi folks!! This week we will be working on learning how to fully utilize Instructional Text materials. We are going to use the Reading Strategies we learned about last week to help make full use of text book type materials we use here at school.
Monday: No School
Tuesday: Library visit: introduction to the reference section, book check out. No homework
Wednesday: Lesson on text book features; in class worksheet. No homework.
Thursday & Friday: Textbook Treasure Hunt; using skills that we are learning to find specific things in text books and creating a treasure hunt for a partner in class. No Homework.
**Just a reminder to make sure a novel to class every day (This needs to be a chapter book, no graphic novels)
